Foraged Fiber and Dye Workshop

Learn about local fiber and dye plants, including how to find, identify, and responsibly harvest native species. Spend the day taking a guided hike exploring the natural history of plants and animals used in textile production throughout our region’s history, and try your hand at processing some of your own fiber! You’ll leave with new skills, handmade crafts, and plenty of inspiration. We’ll cover the basics of cordage making, natural dyes, Eco-printing, and other ways to create practical and artful items from materials around us.
