Hot Sauce and Ristra Making Workshop

We’ve been growing peppers from all around the globe this season, and its time to transform them. In this workshop we’ll explore options for saving and utilizing the fruits of your harvest beyond the growing season. Try your hand at making your own hot sauce with fresh peppers and utilizing local vinegars, crush fresh pepper flakes, and string useful and beautiful ristras to dry your peppers on. We’ll also discuss safely harvesting and handling hot peppers, plus learn the history of this crop and how to grow it next season.
